Remember today,
Some of us didn't wake up.
Meanwhile many of us
Are traditionally raising our cups.
Many of us, will get to spend the day with our families.
Meanwhile others, missing a part of them, are on their knees,
Believing that their beloved ones are watching over them like a nocturnal bird.
A vast amount of us won't make it home to see the newborn,
And others feel shrunken from burying their last or only born.
Christmas comes once a year,
Don't overthink it and demolish it with fear,
Cherish what you have, have fun pass it on and even shed a tear.
To your heart, hold it dear.
For, tomorrow is as far away as it's near.
